Quick answer

Dry fruit suits a dealer’s whole family, carries no brand of its own, and sits on the counter all season.

Why do dry fruits work as a dealer gift?

A dealer gift has a particular job. It has to thank someone who sells your product, without looking like a sales push, and it has to reach a shop owner whose family will decide whether it was a good gift. Electronics and branded merchandise compete with whatever the dealer already stocks. Sweets spoil before the week is out.

Dealers and retailers are the people who carry your brand into the market, the part of the business textbooks call the distribution channel. A Diwali gift is often the only time in the year a company thanks them for something other than a target.

How should you tier gifts across dealers?

Few companies give every dealer the same gift, and it is fair not to. A simple two- or three-tier plan keeps the spend under control and still makes each dealer feel seen.

Tier Who it is for Box Suggested fill
Top dealers The few who carry most of your volume Mughal Peacock gift basket of five pouches, or Royal Mosaic four-jar suitcase Jumbo kaju, Mamra badam, pista, anjeer, Medjool
Core dealers The steady middle of the network Golden Heritage five-compartment tray Kaju, badam, pista, kishmish, khajur
Retailers and sub-dealers Counter staff and smaller shops A smaller box from the same range Kaju and badam, or a three-item mix

Keeping one design family across tiers matters. Dealers talk to each other, and when every box looks like it came from the same thoughtful company, the difference in size reads as a reward for the top tier rather than a snub to the rest.

What should the card say?

Some guidelines that work for dealer gifting:

  • Thank them for the year, not for a number. Mention the partnership, not the target.
  • Sign it from a named person, the founder or the sales head, not just the company.
  • Keep it to three or four lines; it will be read at the counter.
  • Use Hindi, Gujarati or the dealer’s language if most of your network uses it.
  • Avoid any scheme, offer or product message. That belongs in a different letter.

How does delivery to dealers in many towns work?

Dealer networks rarely sit in one city. A company in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Ludhiana or Coimbatore may have dealers in forty towns.

Alternatively, some companies have everything delivered to their own office or godown and hand the boxes over during the Diwali visits by their sales team. That is quicker, and the personal handover adds weight to the gift. Our corporate gifting in Ahmedabad page shows how a single-city order is handled.

When should a company order dealer gifts?

Diwali falls on Sunday 8 November this year, with Dhanteras on Friday 6 November. Many dealers do their biggest sales of the year in that week and will not have time for visitors after it, so the gift should land in the last days of October or the first days of November. We dispatch within three working days of the order being settled, and most cities receive it two to six days later. For Diwali, order about two weeks ahead, and earlier still for a long address list.

How to order

Choose the dry fruits and pack sizes on the website, order them there, and put the gift together at home. Ready-made gift boxes and hampers are not available at the moment. Orders start at ₹1,000, every order ships free across India, and payment is online through Razorpay. Delivery takes a few days depending on the city, so order well ahead of the day.

Questions people ask

What is a good channel partner diwali gift?

It is useful to the partner’s family, carries your brand quietly, and does not compete with anything they sell.

What is a suitable diwali gift for retailers?

A smaller box from the same range you use for dealers, filled with kaju and badam. Keeping one design family across the network makes every tier feel part of the same thank-you.

Should every dealer get the same gift?

Not necessarily. Most companies use two or three tiers based on the size of the relationship. One design family across all tiers keeps it fair.
